Casper was a white and apricot colored dog born August 18, 1965, bred and owned by Louise Heaton [Seigert] and he sired a number of litters for Cordova, de Foret, Somerset and Collisto. His influence was found in particular through Borzoi carrying Sweet William de Foret, Calluna de Foret, and Kazan of Cordova in their pedigrees.>>

Mendeleev of Cordova

from Borzoi Past Group, Sue E.A. Vasick: <<American Ch Mendeleev of Cordova - aka 'Dog' - was bred by Louise Heaton and owned by the Kweis who eventually moved to California. Dog was a sturdily built fellow sired by Galand's Alexander out of Cordova Mishka of Baronoff, which made him a brother toMisha of Cordova a. He was whelped June 21, 1969 and while on the East coast sired a litter for Eileen Nelson to produce Nelshire's Porta Geist. The Kwei's then moved to California, where the Kranjcevich's bred their Pavlovska of Kranjcevich to Dog, producing Chizha of Kranjcevich.

By Galand’s Alexander ex Cordova Mishka of Baronoff, Misha was bright red and white in color, born June 21, 1969. He sired litters for Cordova, Baronoff and Xerox, and was the sire of BIS and group winning and placing Borzoi. He went to live at the McCluskey’s Baronoff kennel when Louise Heaton disbanded Cordova in America for the first time in the 1970’s.>>
