Zikovitch of Brunton

Borzoi Past/FB:  <<Bred in England by J. Dryden, English Ch. Zikovitch of Brunton was a nicely made white and mahogany sable male born December 17, 1928. He was owned by A. Forsyth-Caddell who I believe lived in Scotland, and was sired by Ernest Guy’s celebrated Call Boy out of a bitch named Lady Jean of Neidpath, who was a granddaughter to the mysterious import, Ivan Ivanavitch. Zikovitch sired at least four litters from 1930-1934; his son Mythe Mitya was perhaps the most successful, though daughter Bijou also produced offspring. Zikovitch’s bloodline continued for several generations, though may have died out in the late 1940’s. One descendant went to Australia and can possibly still be found back in the Yadasar lines.>>
