Thevin Maestro of Sunbarr

from Borzoi Past group, Sue E.A. Vasick:  <<Whelped May 6, 1966, Thevin Maestro of Sunbarr was a spotted tri dog bred and owned by James Barr of the famed Sunbarr kennel in Wisconsin. In appearance, he was quite like his sire, Malora’s Bede of Sunbarr, though with a bit more body to him. His dam was Kaskade of Sunbarr Ranch, and he was a litter brother to the highly influential Sirhan Podar of Sunbarr. Maestro didn’t have near as much impact on the breed as his famous brother, but he did sire three litters. His first was for Sunbarr in 1968, which produced Saria of Sunbarr and Sunbarr’s Petrushka. Saria went to Stillwater to produce 3 litters, and Petrushka also had 3 litters. The other two sired by Maestro were for Thevin kennel, with one daughter breeding on for one generation; none of the others carried on.>>
