Lasky

Lasky

from Borzoi Past, FB, Sue E.A. Vasick: <<Pictured is American Ch. Lasky, a white, black and tan colored dog bred by Dr. J.E. DeMund of Lorraine kennel and owned by George Ronsee of New York City. Lasky was whelped May 1, 1908, sired by Russian import Pojar of Toula out of a bitch named Lasca, who was a daughter of Russian import, Nenagladni of Perchina. His stud fee was advertised at $20.00, and he sired eleven litters, some of them of wide import to the breed’s history in this country. Probably his most important daughter was Ronia, who was out of Holmes Sonia, and produced Postrel, Ostrand and Elfirn, all of O’Valley Farm.>>
