Majenkir Valkon of Tara

from Borzoi Past: <American Ch. Majenkir Valkon of Tara was a stylish bitch bred by Karen Staudt and owned by Dick and Debra Tarantino of Tara kennels in New York state, born January 26, 1975. White with pale cream in color, she was sired by Majenkir Sverkai Snow Stag out of Birchwood’s Vonka of Majenkir therefore linebred on Conamor Count Tauskey. In 1979, she was bred to Kishniga’s Desert Song for an outcrossed litter born on July 18th. From this litter came a BIS/SBIS winning bitch named Tara’s La Troika, with a couple littermates also finishing their title. Valkon had her second and final litter in 1982 when she was inbred to her son, Tara’s Desert Wind, with one daughter breeding on for Fawnwood kennel.
