Ekhaga Irina

Ekhaga Irina was the foundation of the Murugi kennels. She was born in 1968 at the Ekhaga kennels of Axel and Signe Hallqvist. Irina was bred once to Int Int Ch Zero and produced two puppies. Tanja went to Ester Andersen in Mandal and the other Tatiana was sold to Arne Strand in Krisitiansand both in Norway. Tanja died young in a car accident. Tatiana was bred to the English Champion Deanlands Boris and produced a litter before returning to the Murugi kennels. Two of the pups, Marsja and Boris Katja came with her, both became Champions and Marsja was Best in Show at the Speciality in 1977 under the well known Breeder judge Lena Tamboer.
