from Borzoi Past group: <Born in England June 7, 1926, Russet of Llanfair was a red dog with cream trim and white points bred by J. Cramb of the short-lived Llanfair kennel, and owned by well-known Ernest H. Guy. Russet had an interesting pedigree in that he was sired by the Dutch import, Max, out of Zara of Haywra. He established himself very well with Mr. Guy, siring a number of litters for him and others, with a number of his offspring breeding on. He’s pictured on the left as an older dog.>
