Gotchina of Grador

From Borzoi Past group, Sue E,A, Vasick: <A tri spotted dog, American Ch. Gotchina of Grador was bred and owned by Dorothy Harris of Grador kennel in California. He was born during a period [1950’s] when Borzoi litters were few and far between, and so each litter was quite important to keep the breed moving along. Gotchina was whelped September 11, 1952, sired by Atamen of Alpine out of Krasina of Hensey Hobby Farm, so carried a lot of important bloodlines, including the Danish import, Midtfyns Boja and some old Canadian and American lines. He sired four litters, all for Grador or co-bred with Llebasi, and was most influential for Locksley Hall’s kennel through his offspring.>
