from Borzoi Past group, Sue E.A. Vasick: <<American Ch. Sascha Kochab of Hethivar CDX was a white dog with red markings and slight sabling born February 17, 1960. He was bred by Marguerite Cox and owned by Charles and Gail McRae in California. He was linebred on Ataman of Alpine, sired by Yermak’s Rurick ex Alta of Alpine. He sired two litters, with the first one in 1964 having some lasting effect at the time. The dam was The Don’s Zephora of Malora, and the match produced Tyson of Aristoff, Sherdon’s Desiree of Aristoff and Karahzan Zephyr of Aristoff, all who bred on nicely. Kochab’s second litter produced one bitch who bred on but that line died out quickly.>>
