Najan I

 Najan and his littermate Ljubka II (both from Rogdai (Korotnev) and Sultansha (Baron Delvig) were from a group of dogs sent in the spring of 1892 by Grand Duke Nikolai Nikolaievich to England to Cruft show, where Ljubka II LOSH 4516 received the 3rd prize in a pack and a pair. According to the magazine “Hunde-Sport und Jagd” for 1893, Najan and Ljubka II were acquired by Mr. Kraft, and in the same year, Mrs. Kraft exhibited them on the dog show in the Dutch city of Scheveningen,where Najan got the 2nd prize in the novice class, and Lubka II the 1st prize. Both dogs were announced for sale for £ 20 each, and Louis Dobbelmann purchased them at this show. In 1893, Najan was sold to S. Rausch, and already in 1894, it was purchased by Mrs. Lang from Munich. In 1895, Najan was mated with Zavlada von Ludwigslust (their daughter Sascha von Ludwigslust DBZ 32, born December 1, 1895).
