Ariel Duncan of The Wild Hunt in New Jersey. The long-lived Zorya was red fawn and white in color, born May 6, 1977. She was linebred on the Cathcade “C” litter of Curio and Cato, being sired by Enchanter of Birchwood out of Jemma of Birchwood. As a brood bitch she had two litters, the first in 1982 when bred to Birchwood’s Oracle, and the second 2 years later with Windrift Kindred Spirit the sire. Both litters were highly successful, with offspring from both titling in the show ring and on the field and carrying on the lines.>
