Vasick: <<A bright orange and white dog, Virag de la Polianka was bred by Georgette Dupret of the well established Polianka kennel in Belgium and exported to Jeanine Tailleu’s Mille Roses kennel in France. He was whelped November 17, 1972, and carried American blood via his sire, the imported Boris of Rising Star, who was out of a Belgian-bred bitch. Virag’s dam was the Dutch-bred Bljetska H van Troybhiko; she was bred in Holland but of German bloodlines. As a stud, Virag did well for Mille Roses kennel, siring two litters, one in 1974, with three progeny breeding on, and the other in 1975, with one daughter producing for Polianka.>>
