Barin Leo Tolstoy of Twin Elms

from Borzoi Past group, Sue E.A. Vasick:  <<The white and cream American Ch. Barin Leo Tolstoy of Twin Elms was bred and owned by Sylvia Sohr of the well known Twin Elms kennel in Wisconsin. Like his sire, Barin Borisky, Leo was a tall, leggy dog with an imposing look to him. His dam was Dvoryanka of Twin Elms, who was a daughter of Barin Borisky, making Leo a linebred dog sure to reproduce much of his type. He sired a total of eleven litters, most of them for Twin Elms, and with a number of his offspring breeding onward. Probably his most successful son became Garush of Twin Elms, with a number of his daughters carrying on the legacy, as well.>>
