Tiranka II of Romanoff

from Borzoi Past group, Sue E.A. Vasick: <<Tiranka II of Romanoff was a beautiful, sturdy looking bitch bred and owned by Louis Murr, born October 8, 1921. She was a sabled grey with white trim, sired by Sverkai of Romanoff out of Valoga; she carried two lines to Russian import Bistri of Perchina [Perchino] and was mostly O’Valley Farm breeding. Tiranka II finished for her American title, and was apparently only bred once, this to Karatai of Romanoff in 1925, to produce Tamara of Romanoff and Cerebro of Romanoff, both of them successful dogs. Cerebro sadly died as a 3 year old, after siring only one litter, and Tamara also had only one litter. Despite the absence of many offspring, these two managed to carry on the bloodline of Tiranka II for a very long time. She could be found behind certain Tam-Boer dogs through Ajax of Romanoff, as well as select Malora dogs right into Shondar lines.>>
