Marvita’s Nena of Phantom Lake was a leggy white and gold bitch bred by Phyllis Brettell and Elaine Young and owned by Anita Davis. Nena was an outcross bed bitch sired by Mazeppa of Rancho Gabriel out of Canadian born Zinaida of Aynsley. She was the dam of three litters from 1968 through 1971, with her third litter sired by Wesbrook’s Tamazar, which produced a bitch named Ropsha’s Aline of Phantom Lake, who was the dam of Phantom Lake’s Tadao. Through him, Nena’s lines can be found throughout North America and Japan>
