Cherry Wine of Keepers

from Borzoi Past Group, Sue E.A. Vasick: <When Cherry Wine of Keepers was imported from England, I'm sure her new owners had no idea what an impact she would make on the breed. She was sired by Rodgivad Hasty and out of Falconcrag Birgatoz and was a tri spotted bitch with very rich brown points. Born in 1973, as a two year old she was bred to her paternal grandsire, Keepers Romance, and two of those offspring went on the continue the bloodline. Her son, Equinox Crichton of Kostenov, sired one litter but unfortunately contracted diabetes insipidus and had to be put to sleep. It was Cherry Wine's daughter, Equinox Ariadne, who helped the line continue, as she was the dam of both Yarmouth's Sassafras and Rose Gregg's Crescent's Genian Equinox.>
