from Borzoi Past group, Sue E.A. Vasick:  <<Laylya of Wolfschmidtzoff was a self cream colored bitch owned by Joan Wagner aka Joan Nesbitt aka Jane Tutton of Jowag kennel in New York State. Laylya was born May 6, 1964, by Prince Rurick of Baronoff and out of Whitchie of Tam-Boer, so carried a lot of Romanoff blood behind her. She produced two litters - in 1966 when bred to Ristovia's Felwood Boja, and and 1968 when bred to Ristovia's Count Karajan [which produced Karahanz of Wolfschmidtzoff] - and can be found behind a surprising number of modern day Borzoi in North America and Europe.>>
