Korotai Perchino II

 

Andrus Kozlov comments on the picture of The Boldareff team "This Boldareff team Korotai, Zavladai and Kassatka (all were littermates, born 1900 by Koptchik Boldareff x Prelest'j Perchino) was exhibited on the XXVIII dog show in 1902 in Moscow - the borzois individually received large silver medals, but the team gold medal. This photo was published in the journal "Country Life in America" Sept.1904. Sizes (height): Korotai - 16 3/4 verssok ~75 cm; Zavladai 16 1/2 vers ~74 cm and Kassatka 15 7/8 verssok ~71,5 cm. NB! their littermate was Atamanka imported in 1903 by J.Thomas to O'Valley Farm."

The third photo shows Korotai together with Armawir, after arrival at Perchino. This photo was labelled "Two of the best Borzois at Perchino" in Dmitri Walzoffs book. "The Perchino Hunt"
