Notes from Sue Vasicks "Borzoi Past"   Am Ch Winjones Janda ["Hippo"] was born in England February 17,

The AKC studbook has him as owned by Mary Traviner, but I believe that's Russell Everhart showing him, so it's possible the Everharts purchased him from Mary, or else they showed him for her. Hippo sired two litters, the first for Whiskey Run from which three offspring bred on, and the second the Trezor B litter. And, let's state the obvious --- Hippo's head in this photograph is very collie-like; I'm sure the ears didn't help any with that illusion. I assure you, he was all Borzoi.
