Podjaika was born in 1973. Sire was Ch Tzars Cibitj and mother was Ekhaga Piroschka. She was bred at the Murugi kennels in Timmele near Ulricehamn by the Andersen family in association with the Törnberg family and Signe Hallqvist from Ekhaga kennels. Podjaika was the Andersens pick of the litter and was to be both shown and bred from. She had three litters and her most prominent offspring was Ch. Murugis Perchina and Ch Murugi's Anjuschka.
