Vala Rama’s Color Me Blue

from Borzoi Past group, Sue EA Vasick: <Hound group winner American Ch. Vala Rama’s Color Me Blue was bred by Charles and Grace Conally of Vala Rama kennel in Michigan and sold to Charles and Kathe Tyson at Stillwater in Tennessee. Boofer was born August 13, 1973 and was sired by Vala Rama’s Phoenix of Sunbarr ex Vala Rama’s Funny Girl. Though people tend to call him a blue, he was actually a silver sable dilute with white trim. Boofer sired a number of litters for Stillwater, as well as one litter for Nickolai and one for Kelcrest. He can still be found in certain pedigrees. Most likely he would have sired more, but he ‘disappeared’ in his prime. There were a couple reasons as to what happened to him, but Chuck Tyson, himself, told me that he had run off and was never found.>
