Stillwater Jerusalem Ridge

from Borzoi Past group, Sue EA Vasick: Although not a large dog height wise at about 30”at the withers, American Ch. Stillwater Jerusalem Ridge proved to be a bit of a genetic giant through his offspring. He was co-bred by Kathy Tyson-Burkett, Doug Burkett and Chuck Tyson, and owned solely by Chuck. Monroe was an irish marked tri dog whelped July 12, 1989, linebred on the breeding of Stillwater The Tennessean to Stillwater Hoedown. His sire was Stillwater Shenandoah II and dam Stillwater Unclouded Day. As mentioned, Monroe was a very successful sire. His first litter was to Sandra Moore’s Stillwater Midnight Oil, producing some very nice offspring, including Avalon James Tiberius. After that he sired at least seven more litters, including several for Stillwater. Other influential offspring were Stillwater V. Unclouded Day and BIS winning Tamarzi’s Lord Oliver Grfalcon.>
