Stillwater Kracota Krashne

Stillwater Kracota Krashne II

from Borzoi Past group, Sue EA Vasick: <Stillwater Kracota Krashne II was a very pretty irish spotted apricot and white bitch bred and owned by Chuck and Kathe Tyson of Stillwater Farm. She was whelped January 1, 1975, and was an inbred bitch, with her mother being a daughter of her father. She was sired by Thistle of Sunbarr out of Stillwater Kracota Krashne [who was by Thistle ex Stillwater’s Genie of Sunbarr]. Krashne II became a very important part of the Stillwater breeding program; she had 2 litters, but it was the first one born in 1976 that had a tremendous impact on the breed. With this litter, she was actually bred BACK to her sire to produce Stillwater The Tennessean, who became the sire of Virginia Reel, Virginia Dare, Jubilee and others found in modern day pedigrees.
