Mytarka Astron

from Borzoi Past group: <American Ch. Mytarka’s Astron was bred by Marian McNeil of Mytarka kennel and owned by Harold and Sheri Morant of Justyl. Aster was white with pale apricot markings, whelped May 2, 1984. She was an integral part of the Justyl breeding, sired by Majenkir Isba De Samarkand out of Mytarka’s Agridor Yavanna, making her linebred on Majenkir Sverkai Snow Stag. She had three litters, her first in 1988 when linebred to her half brother to produce Justyl’s Sultan of Swing. Her second litter was a repeat breeding a year later, creating Justyl’s Unchained Melody, and her third was in 1991 with Songmaker’s Sotto Voce the sire. This third litter produced Justyl’s Shine On Brightly, who sired a number of litters.>
