Choctaw Duncan

Born December 23, 1979, American Ch. Choctaw Duncan was a typical Duncan-bred bitch with her outline and signature head. She was a white bitch with sparse red markings bred by Helga Duncan and owned by Ernie and Bobbie Cheely of Tuff kennel. Her sire was Warhawk Duncan and her dam Sioux Duncan, and she was the product of four generations of linebred Duncan Borzoi. Choctaw had only one litter, in 1986 when bred back into the Duncan line to Tuff Something Special. From this litter came one champion, Tuff Dancemaster Duncan, who went on to sire for Dacha kennel. The line seemed to die out in the late 1990’s.
