Text from Borzoi Past group/Facebook: <<The Nightsong kennel of Joyce and Hank Brandin became known for the quality imports they brought over from England, but before that, they did a great job blending Sunbarr with Sirhan lines to produce some high quality Borzoi. Nightsong Bellhound was perhaps less known than some of them, but he was a very nice dog of good type. He was a black and white with cream points born July 20, 1971, sired by the small but mighty Nightsong Thor of Sunbarr out of Sirhan Kara of Nightsong. He sired only two litters – in 1973 and 1973 – with offspring from both breeding on. Interesting enough, the ’73 litter was rather obscure, yet it through one male from that litter that the line continues today in America, Norway, Greece and elsewhere.>>
