Solveig Rudström-Svensson

She was born 1945 in Bjälverud and is a Swedish painter and illustrator.

Separately,  she has exhibited at Arvika Art Gallery, Kumla Art Gallery and  Gallery Eira and Gripen in Karlstad. She has participated in the group exhibition Don’t Touch My Friend, Peace  with Konstfrämjandet and with  Värmlands konstförening at Värmlands museum.

Her public commissions include Charlottenberg health centre and Säffle hospital. She has been awarded the Värmland Art Association’s travel scholarship in 1984 and Sunne municipality’s cultural scholarship.

Her art consists of nature images in colour or black and white. She has published poems and the picture book Ro och oro[1].

Rudström Svensson is represented at the Public Art Agency Sweden, Värmland County Council, Jönköping County Council, Arvika Municipality and Karlstad Municipality.
