Viouga

Viouga O’Valley Farm

from Borzoi Past group, Sue E.A. Vasick: <

American Ch. Viouga O'Valley Farm was an important influence on several early day kennels. He was bred by Valley Farm kennel, owned by H. Hulberg in Wisconsin and was a solid appearing white dog with gold markings, born March 6, 1906. Viouga was sired by the Russian import Nenagladni of Perchina [Perchino] out of Valley Farm Verina, who was a Bistri of Perchina [Perchino] daughter. Viouga gave the appearance of a strong hunting dog, and as a stud he sired at least five litters. Offspring from all of the litters appear to have bred on with varied success, especially via Glenwild offspring into Malora lines. >
