from Borzoi Past group, Sue E.A. Vasick: <Bred and owned by Louis Murr of Romanoff kennel, American Ch. Tamara of Romanoff was born during the building days of this kennel’s good fortune. She was a white bitch with pale golden markings whelped September 1, 1925. Her sire was Karatai of Romanoff, who went back to Valley Farm and Lorraine lines, and her dam was Tiranka II of Romanoff, who had some precious Valley Farm imports behind her. Tamara was a sister to the ill-fated Cerebro of Romanoff, and had one litter in 1930 when bred to Vigow O’Valley Farm, producing Tiranka III and Tibor of Romanoff, both who contributed widely to breeding programs.>
