Miss Edith Muriel Robinson started with Borzois around year 1900, with her first Champion born in 1905, Ch Mythe Mischa and her last, Mythe Marousia 1936. Shortly after her death, Mr Ernest Henry Guy published a booklet with pictures of many of the succesful Borzois from the Mythe kennels. In his Preface, he wrote this:

This book is dedicated to the memory of Edith Muriel Robinson, the late owner of the famous “Mythe” Borzois and its intended to give the many newcomers to the breed an insight into some of the famous Champions breed by her in the 40 years of breeding and exhibiting at Champioship shows.

It was with deep regret that we learned of her passing. No one in Borzoi History was held in such high esteem. To know her was to love her; she was a great friend to all and was always willing to give encouragement and practical help to other Borzoi breeders. Many older breeders can still picture her with her beautifully presented hounds in the showring. No one did more than she to improve Borzois_type, heads and coats beyound reproach.
