Queen Alexandra’s pets

 

Having been granted rare access to see Queen Alexandra’s pets, including Her Royal Highnesses’ beloved Borzoi Alix, at the Sandringham estate Sarah A. Tooley published the following article in 1901. I I am publishing these articles in The Borzoi Encyclopaedia to encourage better understanding of the function of the Borzoi and its development as a breed.
