One of the minds that I most admire and that has contributed a lot in the continuous search for the origins of the dog is the zooarchaeologist Juliette Clutton-Brock, who passed away 5 years ago. Those like me have a passion for this kind of studies. An example: the Tell Brak site in Syria, in the far north of Mesopotamia 4000 years ago (in Akkadian territory), where together with the remains of a donkey an almost complete skeleton of a greyhound was found.
