The first photo (the book cover) from the 1920-1921. The Queen of Romania, Maria (granddaughter of the Russian Emperor Alexander II), in the 1920s, was the owner of a dozen borzois, whose ancestors were presented to the Queen by Grand Duke Nikolai Nikolaevich. In June 1914, the dog Matas, born 06/09/1912 (Igrun – Moskvichka), and the bitch Astra, born on 06/19/1913 (Udivljai – Duma) were transferred to her from the Perchino hunt.
