Springbank Sarno

Springbank Sarno

from Borzoi Past group, Sue EA Vasick: <England has often influenced American breeding programs with their imports to this country, and one such dog was English and American Ch. Springbank Sarno, who I believe was originally brought over by Donald Robb and then sold to Irv and Nancy Bonios of Karistan kennel in California. Sarno was an elegant spotted tri dog born February 25, 1966 bred by Vivian Sayer. Though he had the Springbank prefix, he carried a Reyas pedigree, being sired by Reyas Marquis out of Reyas Tonya. He was highly influential to the Karistan and Aristoff breeding programs and eventually programs all over the country through siring Kalinka of Aristoff, Eglon of Karistan, Morgyanna of Aristoff and many others.>
