Romanoff Kosloff

from Borzoi Past group, Sue E.A. Vasick:  <<Bred at Janet Paterson’s Canadian Romanoff kennel, Canadian Ch. Romanoff’s Kosloff was a white, black and tan spotted dog whelped in the late 1920’s. He was the result of a half-sister to half-brother breeding, linebred on the USA import bitch Elegance. His sire was Romanoff Kanduit and his dam Countess Petrova. Kosloff was the sire of four litters, with his first sired litter out of Betty of Hortoff producing Rubinoff Boy, sire of Eileen Worthing’s [Malora] Rubinoff Babe. Offspring bred on from this. Another influential breeding was when he was mated to Romanoff Nazimova's Justa, producing Romanoff Kosloff II, sire of four litters and grandsire of Bedford Midas, another dog who had an impact on American breeding.>>
