According to contemporaries, the male was of average height, 76 cm at the withers. Baron Roemer was delighted with Pasha's extraordinary musculature, strength and endurance. The male jumped easily at a height of 190 cm. The Baron daily trained his dogs of different breeds, making many kilometers of cycling with them. During one training session, the dogs ran for a bike from 15 to 30 kilometers with breaks for rest. In May 1888, Pasha accompanied the Baron on a bicycle ride, the length of which on that day, according to Roemer, was 140 kilometers! "
