Blackett

Francehill Party Piece of Jonwin

From Borzoi Past, Sue E.A. Vasick: <Canadian Ch. Francehill Party Piece of Jonwin helped build the Rising Star kennel of Nadine Johnson’s in a large way. Blackett was of stellar breeding, being sired by Zomahli Harorshyi out of Springbank Lilli, bred by Robin and Margaret Searle of Francehill kennel in England and originally sold to Mrs. Pat Miller in Canada, where she was successfully shown to her title, winning her championship in 5 shows, with a Group 1st at her very first outing. She also accumulated 7 other Group placements in Canada and was pointed by Mrs. Miller in America. Blackett was sold to Nadine Johnson due to Mrs. Miller’s health problems, and what a fine day it was for Rising Star kennel when Nadine acquired her! Born December 16, 1971, she had her first litter in 1977, and three more after that, and became the dam of BIS and Specialty winners and producers who carried her bloodline successfully into the 21st century.>
