Feeding borzois t the Belousov hunt

At the end of the 19th century, there was a well-known breeder of hounds and borzois in Russia, Pyotr Belousov from Moscow. It is known that after the death of the famous breeder N.Yermolov in 1890, P. Belousov bought his best borzois – the famous Kara and Seredechny, as well as Prokaza, Smely and Slava.

Serdechny

In 1895 Karl Schirmer imported to Germany Ljubim DBZ 23 (born in 1894 Khan – Lebedka, breeder P. Belousov). In 1897, the newspaper Der Hundefreund published a photo of Ljubim and the following note about him: Ljubim is a white dog with two yellow spots, born in June 1894 in the kennel of Dr. Belousov in Moscow. He is very typical, height 74 cm, chest girth 84 cm, deep rib, soft hairs. Despite his rough head and very high rule, he is an excellent representative of the breed.” His descendants in Germany were:- litter in 1896 out Smela DBZ 22 = Sokol DBZ 39, Duschinka DBZ 52 are known. In 1897- out Alexandra II – Mercedes DBZ 65, Negvera DBZ 78, Smela-Coswig DBZ 46 are known; out Lebedka DBZ 30 – Usserd is known and out Vintovka is known Burja.
